How to enable/show dot files in cPanel?

In this knowledgebase article, we are going to learn how to Enable dotfiles (ex- .htaccess, .well-known, etc) in cPanel. Normally by default its disable/hidden in the cpanel, in order to access it you need to Enable it from settings.

  1. Login to cPanel > Navigate to File Manager.



  2. Navigate to public_html and click on Setting.




  3. Check Show Hidden Files option and SAVE.




That's it, now you can see all available dotfiles under a public_html directory.
